A partida 💷 entre Palmeiras e San Lorenzo, em como apostar on line no super senna Buenos Aires, nesta quarta-feira, na primeira rodada do fase de grupos da Libertadores, 💷 was marred by another episode of racism in the stands. After the goal by Joaquín Piquerez, who equalized the score 💷 at 1-1, a fan of the Argentine team made monkey gestures towards the Brazilian team's supporters.
On social media, Palmeiras fans 💷 are demanding punishments for another act of racism in the competition. O Globo contacted Conmebol for an official statement, but 💷 no response has been received as of the publication of this article.
So far, neither of the clubs has made a 💷 statement about the incident. However, this situation is not the first in this edition of the Copa Libertadores. In the 💷 match between Flamengo and Millonarios, also in the first round of the group stage, in Bogotá, a Colombian fan made 💷 racist gestures towards Flamengo players.
Alejandro Domínguez, president of Conmebol, guaranteed last month that there will be "zero tolerance" for racism 💷 in the Libertadores and the Copa Sul-Americana. In an interview with journalist Monique Vilela, the mandatário affirmed that severe measures 💷 will be taken for new cases of racial discrimination.
"Zero tolerance for us. This is a very important issue for us, 💷 because it's not just the players from here in America who suffer from discrimination. And that's not just for us, 💷 but also for players from Africa and other parts of the continent. That's also important. But we also have to 💷 protect our players who are outside of the continent," said Alejandro Domínguez.
Inside the field, Palmeiras, who left most of its 💷 starters in Sao Paulo and entered the game with an entirely reserve team, managed to draw with San Lorenzo in 💷 the first round of Group F. Now, the Brazilian team prepares to face Liverpool, from Uruguay, on Thursday, April 11, 💷 at Allianz Parque.
